Reporting To: Owners.
Labourer positions in a small landscaping company, which focuses mainly on gardening. Main duties include: helping install and maintain gardens, ponds, patios, and walkways, as well as assisting owners with other tasks when necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position requires all manner of landscape labour related duties including: shoveling, weeding, cultivating, stonework, rough carpentry, pruning, shrub removal, general plant care, watering, and other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
We are looking for people with a general knowledge of garden plants; at the most general level can identify weeds to be pulled.
You must have the ability to deal with a changeable work environment; i.e. changing weather and customers' changing needs.
Driver's license with clean record and experience driving a large truck with a trailer is an asset.
Experience:
Some landscape or outdoor work experience is preferred.
Special Requirements:
Transportation to and from the Philipsburg office is required. You must be willing to work long hours in the sun or rain and some weekends. Some heavy lifting will be required.
