We at Gaia's Gardens believe in promoting gardening as a means to improve individual health both mentally and physically as well as improving the health of our communities and potentially the entire living earth. We operate first and foremost to provide quality to our customers: quality of service and quality of product, at a good price, whether the need be big or small.
Gaia's Gardens is the smart choice in landscaping for every gardener, providing consultation, design, installation, and maintenance to meet the needs of experts and amateurs alike.
Meet the Owners
Erin Autio and Sarah Moylan are sisters who have been playing in the garden for as long as they can remember. Together, they form the partnership that is Gaia's Gardens. These days they make their homes a short walk from each other in the town of New Hamburg, Ontario.
A Bit About Gaia
Gaia's Gardens is an unusual name and provokes many questions from our friends and customers alike. Gaia (guy-yuh) originates from early Greek mythology. Gaia is the earth goddess from which most other gods originated. A loose translation would be the term mother earth. The term Gaia was revived in the 1960's when James Lovelock published his Gaia Hypothesis. In this theory, Lovelock describes the whole earth as one living system.
